2️⃣ Walk Through Puerta de San Juan (San Juan Gate)

This grand red gate was once the official entrance to the city. Pass through it, just like travelers did centuries ago, and step into the heart of Old San Juan.

3️⃣ Visit Castillo San Felipe del Morro (El Morro) 🏰

Head to the iconic 16th-century fort that protected the city from invaders. Explore its tunnels, lighthouse, and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

(Tip: Bring water and sunscreen—it gets hot!)

4️⃣ Stroll Along Calle del Cristo

This historic street is lined with boutiques, cafes, and famous landmarks like Capilla del Cristo, a small chapel built in the 1700s.

5️⃣ Stop at Plaza de Armas & City Hall

A great spot to rest, people-watch, and admire the Spanish colonial architecture.

6️⃣ Explore La Fortaleza & Calle Fortaleza (Umbrella Street) 🌈

Walk past the Governor’s Mansion (La Fortaleza) and snap a photo under the famous colorful umbrellas that decorate the street.

7️⃣ Grab a Treat at Barrachina – The Birthplace of the Piña Colada 🍹

Cool down with a refreshing piña colada at Barrachina, the restaurant that claims to have invented the drink.

8️⃣ Check Out Castillo de San Cristóbal 🏰

A larger and more complex fort than El Morro, this 18th-century stronghold offers incredible views and a deep dive into Puerto Rico’s military history.

9️⃣ Visit Catedral de San Juan Bautista ⛪

One of the oldest cathedrals in the Americas and the final resting place of Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de León.

🔟 End Your Walk with Dinner & Sunset at La Factoria 🍽️🌅

Wrap up your day at one of Old San Juan’s famous bars, La Factoría, for amazing cocktails, live music, and an unbeatable atmosphere.
